Anxious About Your Insomnia?

Anxiety is the most common mental health issue for adults - over 51% of adults experience it due to stress. But what’s even more unexpected is that most people with anxious feelings also fight with getting a solid night of sleep. Insomnia, unsurprisingly effects 50% of adults too.
Although much of stress is caused by and starts with external factors we can’t always control, we do have the ability to take charge and help our bodies to be ready to push back on the physical tolls of stress and its symptoms.
That means doing what we can to make sure our bodies have the fuel they need, the right vitamins and minerals, to help flush away stress hormones and ultimately help keep us as resilient as possible.

anxiety destroying soak
From worked up to chilled out. Helps us catch our calm with Magnesium, Complex B Vitamins, and Elemental Zinc.
anxiety is where it all starts…
We’ve all had that night where as we get ready for bed our mind turns on and we just spend the whole night worrying and panicking and cycling through every thought. That’s where having enough Magnesium, Elemental Zinc and Complex B Vitamins in our systems, like those found in our Anxiety Destroying soak, can help to quiet our minds.
…but Insomnia is where the cycle gets its fuel.
But when we don’t, and we’re tired the next day our anxiety gets the best of us again. And that just leads to getting more anxious about not getting enough sleep. Our best bet is to make sure we’ve enough Vitamins A & E plus L-Carnitine (also found in our Insomnia Ending soaks) to help reset our circadian rhythm.
DID YOU KNOW THAT
50% of us struggle with both anxiety and insomnia regularly?
but, how do we break the cycle of anxiety and insomnia?
Prioritizing sleep is the best place to start. Start setting a sleep routine, best two things we can do is stop using any kind of screen 1 hour before bed and start going to bed at the same time every night. The goal is to help retrain our minds that we’re going to bed. And an Insomnia Ending soak during this hour is not a bad idea either.
Once you start getting more sleep, it’s much easier to stay resilient against generalized anxiety. But learning a few focusing and calming breathing exercises is a great place to start. The simplest is breathing in for 3 seconds, holding your breath for 3 seconds, exhaling for 3 seconds, holding your breath again for 3 seconds - but do this 5 times in a row.
